Cheeseheads hamming for the camera!! I LOVE YOU, DADA!!!

Who said that I was supposed to do any work while on this vacation. This is a tough one. Usually is when you have never seen it before. Thanks for the help, Grammy Gladys!
I love you, Grammy Gladys!
I am ready for my close up, Mr. DeMille.
Diggin' to China with Dada and Paw Paw. Please notice who is doing the work:)
We are staying in Norfolk (everybody say wheeeww.) Lamar got verbals, shortly followed by written orders last month. We will be staying right here for the next tour. Lamar will be going to HSC-2 sometime after the beginning of the new year. He will be an instructor to the fresh new faces coming from Milton, FL. God help them all:) No, seriously, he will be training the new helicopter pilots for flight in the 60. This is what he wanted and definitely what I wanted. I really did not want to move with Grace and the dog anywhere. Anywhere would have probably been either San Diego or Pensacola-area. We are very glad that we are going to be living here for the next several years to come...Now to get started on renovating the house:):):)

Grace is truly a monkey. Bath times are GREAT around here. She is either found swimming in the upstairs bath or "take shire (shower) Dada." She will come running out of the shower shouting "nakey bebe" (naked baby). Or sometimes she will come out in a towel and say,"tiny bebe, Mommy." (Tiny Baby). She wants to be wrapped up and carried up the stairs like a swaddled newborn.
Lamar got a new computer. An apple laptop that does not, well, leave his lap:) He has been working on an homage to Grace on it. Posted below is the address with more current pictures. Between the two of them, you will be able to see the updates of our daily CRAZY existence!http://web.mac.com/curtis.hardy/iWeb/Linda%20Grace/Linda%20Grace.html
I know, I know. I am a slacker. Actually I have several really good excuses, which I will highlight, but not elaborate on now. First things first....HEAVY things going down at work. Let's just say that the State Licensing Department and Child Protective Services are now fixtures for me at work. Nothing that I have done...those of you relax, but something that I had to report. We also have a VERY active toddler around the house these days who has been battling something. The doctors say "virus." I believe that is the stock answer anymore. Lamar has been busy at work. Leila (the dog) has been, well, let's say challenging. Hopefully things are getting ready to get back to normal around here. We actually leave for Garden City this Saturday for a week. A WELCOME distraction and break!
Mommy bought me the coolest new playhouse. It is just my size, and it fits my new puppy too.

This is the newest member of the Hardy household. Lamar is in NYC for Fleet Week, so Grace and I made a command decision and went out and got a dog. She is a pure bred cocker spaniel. Solid black with the exception of the white triangle on the forehead. She is six weeks old. We have not named her yet. We are going to live with her for a few days first. Grace will be her registered owner. We are accepting suggestions. So far, she is VERY lazy. She just lays around. Definitely going to be an inside lap dog.
This is the new fun thing to do at our house. When we get home from school, Grace gets into the front seat to "drive." She turns all of the switches and buttons in the car, while I sit in the passenger seat and read the mail. This was the only way that I could get the grass cut on Thursday. I left her in the car with the window down to play while I cut the front yard. Don't alert CPS:)
Daddy is teaching himself to play the piano. Grace has in turn taken an interest.
Paw Paw and Grandma Moody came to visit for Memorial Day weekend. They came armed with all of the favorites....cashews...granola bars...animal cookies. The first thing I did was turn the five gallon box of cookies over onto the floor.
Another dress from G-G. This one has an ice cream cone on it. We LOVE it. The hat...Mom and Dad love it. It is almost impossible to get Grace to wear one. We had to snap the picture in a hurry. The hat will probably never sit on her head again.

This is Grace's Easter dress. G-G gave it to her. She wore it for most of Sunday. She had a great time playing out in the front yard with the azaleas.
